WI mentioned in Motif Magazine

http://www.motifmagazine.net/

In an article about the 48 Hour Film project.  Check out the whole article at the link above.

"The 48 forces us to make movies. Deadlines are important," adds Kyp Pilalas, one of the leaders of the "Wax Idiotical Films" team, which created controversy in 2009 by winning in both Rhode Island and New Hampshire. "One of my favorite parts is half way through shooting when I think to myself, 'this sucks. No one will like this. It's not funny. What the hell am I doing?' The reason [that's a favorite moment]? Because from then on things usually click and come together and we realize that it IS going well and it IS funny." The other favorite part? "Seeing what we and everyone else comes up with," says Pilalas.

New Hampshire 2011 48hfp blog entry

We set a new record this time around.  We didn't finish filming until about 2am.  That's partially becuse we had a few scenes that we couldn't do until after dark but also because of poor planing on our part, something we shall rectify in the future.  In the middle of it I, Kyp, had to go to a wedding so I wasn't there for all the filming.  I edited from 2am to 9am straight, which again, new record.  It was painful and I'm only just now recovering from the lack of sleep.  But the end product is, without a doubt, the most cinematic movie we've ever made and I'm very proud of that.  It gets me pumped for Providence.
