"On December 4-7, 2009, 48HFP teams from around the world will compete head-to-head. This is a special competition open to the 100 top teams from the 48 Hour Film Project 2009."

We're honored to be concitered one of these "top 100 teams" and are wicked excited because

"The winning film will screen at Filmapalooza and at the Cannes Film Festival!"

That would be just plain awesome.

Thanks to everyone at the New Hampshire Film Festival. The short film screenings were awesome. People seemed to enjoy "Stalling" which is all I can ask for =) Also congratulations to Marc Dole and J. Zachary Pike for Tweet representing New Hampshire at Filmapalooza after we chose "Don't Forget the Milk" over "Stalling." It's been a crazy year for Wax Idiotical and we're looking forward to the future!

Wax Idiotical Films has won its second Best Picture award. "Don't Forget the Milk" took best picture at last Saturday's Best of Providence screening along with the Audience Award for screening group F. We also tied for Best Direction with Noisykid + Optic Sugar's wonderful film "Cease to Beat" It was an honor merely to be screened with all the wonderful films at Providence this year.

48 Hour Filmmaker: Providence 2009
Last night we had the primary screening for "Don't Forget the Milk" at the Providence 48 Hour Film Project. The movie was well received at the end of a night of interesting films. Other highlights include: "The Horrifying Horror Movie".

Hopefully, we'll be seeing some more of the 48 hour films at the best of screening (knock on wood) in Providence on the 15th of August. Be sure to get your tickets in advance, and let us know if you're coming! Hope to see you all there!!!
